Detroit Lions leading wide receiver Quintez Cephus suffered a broken collarbone and will be out an extended time, possibly the rest of the season, NFL Network reported Monday.
Cephus, 23, went down in the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He had three catches on three targets for 38 yards when he was injured.
Among Lions wide receivers, the second-year player has team highs in receptions (15) and yards (204). Cephus has hauled in two touchdowns in five games (three starts). Running back D'Andre Swift leads the Lions with 29 catches and 252 yards receiving.
Lions No. 1 receiver Tyrell Williams remains sidelined with a concussion he suffered in Week 1.
